GoogleFight.com is a site that turns guessing which keyword has more search results into a game.
The objective is simply to choose two keywords (presumably one from each of two different people who are competing) and sumbit them to see which one is more popular.
A slightly less graphically rich, and also less advertising plastered version is Google Battle.

Photo Munchrs assembles a page full of photos from the flickr database which have been tagged with a particular word, and asks you to navigate your little photo eating monster around the screen to gobble up the ones that match the word presented on screen. This game simultaneously contribute to building a better visual ranking system.
It’s mildly amusing, but the one problem I found was that it was difficult to actually see some of the small thumbnails on my extremely high resolution monitor.

The Google AdSense Game, created by Joel Comm as an advertisement for his Google AdSense advertising book, is actually pretty educational and fun.
The goal is to create a virtual Web site and lay out your advertising in such a way as to maximize the revenue potential from Google ads.

Johan over at Spontanus provides today’s game:
A couple of months ago I stumbled across the site gpokr. This site gives you the opportunity to play the game online. No strings attached.
You receive a fictional amount of money, which you can use to become rich, or use to make other people rich
.
The website uses a competition which runs from month to month to see who’s the best player. I think the game is lots of fun and is ideal for people who have just begun playing poker.
This game is the first of it’s kind, having been developed using the Google Web Toolkit. Hopefully there will be many more like it to come.

SearchFrays is a simple little game that presents you with a Web address and has you try to guess the shortest possible search phrase that will cause that address to show up in the first page of Google search listings.
It’s an interesting way to learn a little about the way the search engine works.

Mars Sucks is a Google Earth based game. If you do not yet have Google Earth installed you can get it by installing the Google Pack from the link on the right.
Once you’ve got Google Earth installed, follow this link to open a dynamic KML file from DestinSharks.com
To Play the Game:
1. Read the clues and search for the aliens (you’ll need to be below 2400 miles to see them and they don’t seem to appear prior to the 2nd clue)
2. Center your cross-hairs over the UFO and you will shoot automatically. To shoot again, move your view just a touch and stop. It takes 4 shots to destroy a UFO.
This is a great game to develop geography skills, and it’s amusing to blast the little aliens while you’re at it.
